jQuery Selectors

One of the most powerful features of jQuery is to make the selection of DOM components simple and straightforward. jQuery selectors are used to find or select Html elements based on their id, classes, types, attributes, values of attributes etc. This jQuery selector is support all css selector as well as it has its own custom selectors.

The jQuery selectors can be used single or with the combination of other selectors.

Selecting Elements by ID

You can use the ID selector to select a single element with the unique ID on the page.
